Commissioning a Work at Able Art is an easy process. Simply provide us with a quality print, digital or scanned photograph of the subject, and we will quote a price and then create an interpretive watercolor painting for your collection.
Standard sizes are; quarter sheet - 11"x15", half sheet - 15"x22" and full sheet - 22"x30". Custom sizes up to 22"x30" are available and may be discussed, along with pricing, at the time of commissioning.
Able Art typically creates commissioned work of the following subjects:

- Other subjects would gladly be considered
Please note that the traditional portrait medium is oil paint, while we work in watercolors. There are distinct differences in the mediums and in the style of paintings between artists. Able Art produces interpretive works, and does not typically paint photographic renditions. If a photographic rendition is desired, we can suggest some artists that would be happy to produce a painting of that type for you.
