Watercolor painting has long been held as the most difficult, unforgiving medium in art. This myth is probably perpetrated by watercolor artists themselves, but the watercolor medium is not the "boogeyman" it has been made out to be.
Terry Madden, PBS's premier watercolor artist for over 10 years, has developed a system that brings the understanding and application of this medium within the reach of those that want to explore and enjoy watercolor painting.
Once you learn these simple and fun methods, you can apply them to you own personal style and subject matter, creating beautiful paintings from the outset.
Pat has studied under Terry Madden, and is a graduate of Terry's Certified Instructor Program. The "MCT" behind his name indicates that Pat is a "Madden Certified Teacher" in good standing.
Artists from first time beginners to seasoned practitioners can learn from Terry's tool kit and methods, and enjoy the learning process.
